Matthew Todman - CPA, CA, CFA

Co-Founder

Matthew has over 15 years of experience working on Bay Street in Toronto in the financial services sector. He has worked at a schedule 1 bank, a big 4 accounting firm, a wholesale bank and the trading floor. From there he founded his own licensed accounting practice based in Oakville, Ontario and in 2019 co-founded Theta Trading Corporation, a financial education company that has taught over 1500 people trading techniques along with other core financial literacy concepts. 

Matthew is a Portfolio Manager for Corton Capital Inc.

Omar Khan, BA Economics

Co-Founder

Omar’s career spans more than 20 years in financial services. He started out in the brokerage arm of a Big Five Canadian bank, worked for a widely known mutual fund company, has been a full-time real estate investor, and a derivatives trader. In 2019 Omar co-founded Theta Trading Corporation, a financial education company, that has taught over 1500 people trading techniques along with personal finance and investing concepts he believes everyone should know. 

Omar is a Dealing Representative for Corton Capital Inc.

David Jarvis, CFA, MBA

President & Portfolio Manager - Corton Capital Inc.

David is the founder and a principal of Corton Capital and acts as the firm’s Portfolio Manager. He is a veteran of the Canadian hedge fund and financial services industry with over 30 years in senior-level positions. As a founding partner of Spartan Fund Management, he conceived, designed and co-built one of the first incubator hedge fund platforms in Canada with over 15 funds and a wide array of investment strategies. David has provided expert witness consulting advice to various law firms and retail investors in respect of compliance and securities related matters as well as serving as a Chief Compliance Officer for various firms. He is active within the Canadian investment industry; serving on the Financial Administrators Section of the IDA (now CIRO) and was one of the co-founders and first Vice-Chairman of AIMA Canada (Alternative Investment Management Association).
